Beer Compound Enzyme: High-Efficiency Blend for Brewery Saccharification & Beer Quality
Product Description
Beer Compound Enzyme is a combination and optimization of various enzymes such as β-glucanase, xylanase, neutral protease, cellulase and amylase. With a reasonable and efficient ratio, it maximizes the efficacy of various enzyme preparations and has been widely used in breweries.
Characteristics and Benefits
It is mainly used in the saccharification process of beer brewing to improve saccharification efficiency.
It can effectively decompose xylan and β-glucan, reduce wort viscosity, and enhance the filtration efficiency and quality of wort and beer.
It hydrolyzes cellulose and hemicellulose, breaks down barley cell walls, fully releases intracellular substances, and improves wort yield.
It decomposes proteins, increases the content of αamino nitrogen and soluble nitrogen in wort, and promotes vigorous yeast fermentation.
It improves the cleaning effect of filters and boiling kettles, and increases the volume of beer filtered per batch.
It blocks part of the diacetyl formation pathway, reduces diacetyl content in beer, shortens fermentation time, and improves beer quality.
When used during fermentation, it facilitates beer filtration, improves the non-biological stability of beer, and extends shelf life.
Usage Instructions
When this compound enzyme is used in saccharification, especially with a high proportion of domestic malt, the recommended initial dosage is 400–600 g per ton of malt (dry weight charged into the saccharification tank). The dosage can be properly reduced if satisfactory saccharification is achieved.
Add the enzyme after feeding materials into the saccharification tank. It can be added directly into the tank, or dissolved and diluted appropriately with saccharification water (40–60°C) before use.
Precautions
Enzymes are protein-based substances. For sensitive individuals, inhalation of enzyme powder or droplets may case allergic reactions. Prolonged exposure may irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. It is recommended to wear a face mask during operation. If the product accidentally splashes onto the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with clean water.
Package and Storage
The liquid is packaged in 25kg plastic drums or 1000kg IBC tanks or customized.
As a bioactive substance, the enzyme may deactivate under high temperature, strong acids, or strong alkalis. Therefore, avoid direct sunlight during transportation and storage. And After opening, reseal tightly to prevent enzyme deactivation. Keep in a clean, cool, and dry warehouse.
