Product Description

Cellulase is refined from high-yield strains obtained via mutation and screening of Trichoderma reesei, through deep liquid aerobic fermentation. This product is widely used in feed, textile, alcohol, beer, traditional Chinese medicine extraction, food, juice processing and other industries.

 

Working Principle

Cellulase is a general term for a group of enzymes that can act synergistically on the β-1,4-glucosidic bonds of cellulose, degrading cellulose into short fibers, cellobiose and glucose.It has the following functions:

  • Arbitrarily cutting the β-1,4-glycosidic bonds in cellulose molecules;

  • Cutting β-1,4-glycosidic bonds into cellobiose from the nonreducing end;

  • Decompose cellobiose into glucose.

PH range: Effective range 4.3–6.0, optimal range 4.5–5.0


Usage Instructions

For fruit wine production: Cellulase can break down cellulose in fruits, improve juice yield and fruit wine yield, so it can also be used in the fruit wine industry. Recommended dosage: 5,000–40,000 U/kg, which should be added during fruit processing or fruit wine fermentation.

 

Precautions

Enzymes are protein-based substances. For sensitive individuals, inhalation of enzyme powder or droplets may case allergic reactions. Prolonged exposure may irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. It is recommended to wear a face mask during operation. If the product accidentally splashes onto the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with clean water.

 

Package and Storage

The liquid is packaged in 25kg plastic drums or 1000kg IBC tanks or customized.

As a bioactive substance, the enzyme may deactivate under high temperature, strong acids, or strong alkalis. Therefore, avoid direct sunlight during transportation and storage. And After opening, reseal tightly to prevent enzyme deactivation. Keep in a clean, cool, and dry warehouse.
