Wood Chip Treatment Enzyme is specially formulated for the pretreatment of wood chips. It effectively promotes water absorption, swelling and fibrillation of fibers during the pulping process, making wood chips more prone to fiber fraying and significantly reducing pulping power consumption. Meanwhile, It also exert a certain effect on resin control.

Working Principle

Treating wood chips with Wood Chip Treatment Enzyme activates the fibers, making the fiber structure looser and promotes their water absorption and swelling capacity. In addition, the enzyme acts on the primary wall (P layer) and the outer secondary wall (S1 layer) of fiber cell walls, reducing fiber cohesion, facilitating the separation of the S1 layer from the inner secondary wall (S2 layer), and making the internal structure of fiber cell walls looser and more flexible. This allows fibers to seperate easily during pulping, lowers pulping energy consumption and achieves electricity savings.

1. Promotes softening, water absorption and swelling of wood fibers, facilitating fiber separation and swarfing;

Usage Instructions

1. It can be added to the wood chip washing tank or directly sprayed onto wood chips.

2. Added in batch or continuous mode, with a dosage of 100-300g per ton (based on dry pulp).

3. Optimal reaction temperature: 35-65℃, optimal reaction pH: 6.0-10.0.

4. Reaction time: 45-90 minutes.

Precautions

Enzymes are protein-based substances. Prolonged exposure may irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. It is recommended to wear a face shield for protection during operation. If the product accidentally splashes onto the skin or eyes, please immediately rinse with clean water.

Package and Storage

The liquid is packaged in 25kg plastic drums or 1000kg IBC tanks or customized.

As a bioactive substance, the enzyme may deactivate under high temperature, strong acids, or strong alkalis. Therefore, avoid direct sunlight during transportation and storage. And After opening, reseal tightly to prevent enzyme deactivation. Keep in a clean, cool, and dry warehouse.
