Alkaline Protease Enzyme – Powerful Protein Stain Removal for Detergents & Industrial Applications
Product Description
Alkaline Protease is a proteolytic enzyme produced from Bacillus subtilis strains bred by protoplast mutagenesis, via submerged fermentation, extraction and purification. It is widely used in leather, silk and detergent industry. The active component of alkaline protease is a serine endo-alkaline protease, which can hydrolyze peptide bonds in protein molecules to produce polypeptides or amino acids.
Working Principle Function in Washing
When applied in detergent formulations, Alkaline Protease helps remove protein-based stains such as sweat, blood, fecal stains, grass stains, and various food protein soils including soup and milk stains. It hydrolyzes proteins into peptide chains and amino acids that are easily dissolved or dispersed in the detergent solution, so that protein soils and other contaminants attached to fabrics by proteins can be readily removed by surfactants. This prevents proteins from forming persistent stains due to oxidation and fixation, and avoids secondary contamination of the fabric by free protein stains in the washing solution. Our Alkaline Protease exhibits good stability in most detergent formulations.

Package and Storage
Package Options:
Solid form: 1kg or 25kg or customized.
Liquid form: 25kg plastic drum, IBC tank or customized.
Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight. The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored at temperatures below 25°C. Partial enzymatic activity may still be retained beyond this period if stored in a contamination-free environment. If the product is used past its expiration date, the dosage should be adjusted as appropriate.
Precautions
Enzymes are protein-based substances. For sensitive individuals, inhalation of enzyme powder or droplets may case allergic reactions. Prolonged exposure may irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. It is recommended to wear a face mask during operation. If the product accidentally splashes onto the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with clean water.
