Product Description

Bleach Boosting Enzyme degrades xylan and hemicellulose in pulp, enlarging the pores between fibers and loosening the structure of fiber cell walls. This facilitates the penetration of the bleaching solution, and improves the whiteness and production capacity of the pulp.

 

Working Principle

Xylan is one of the main components in plant fibers. During the sulfate pulping process, xylan dissolves, yet with the decrease of pH value during the cooking process, part of the dissolved xylan re-precipitates and adheres to the fiber surface to form a "film". In addition, some xylan exists with lignin in the form of lignin-polysaccharide complexes.

These forms of xylan hinder the contact between the bleaching solution and lignin, resulting in a decrease in bleaching efficiency. Bleach Boosting Enzyme can effectively degrade xylan and destroy lignin-polysaccharide complexes, thereby enhancing the penetration capacity of the bleaching solution and promoting the bleaching and dissolution of residual lignin.

Usage Instructions

1. It can be added at the inlet of the pre-bleaching tower or in the mid-consistency vertical pipe prior to the bleaching stage, and can also be dosed into the end tank of the post-bleaching washer;

2. Add in batches or continuously with a dosage of 100-300 g/T (based on dry pulp);

3. Working temperature: 35-65℃, working pH: 6.0-9.0;

4. Reaction time: 45-90 minutes.

 

Precautions

Enzymes are protein-based substances. Prolonged exposure may irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. It is recommended to wear a face shield for protection during operation. If the product accidentally splashes onto the skin or eyes, please immediately rinse with clean water.

 

Package and Storage

The liquid is packaged in 25kg plastic drums or 1000kg IBC tanks or customized.

As a bioactive substance, the enzyme may deactivate under high temperature, strong acids, or strong alkalis. Therefore, avoid direct sunlight during transportation and storage. And After opening, reseal tightly to prevent enzyme deactivation. Keep in a clean, cool, and dry warehouse.
